First and foremost, NEVER EVER leave a lit candle unattended, especially with children or fur babies near by. Never place your lit candle near loose or flammable items or substances! ALWAYS be mindful and cautious with any sort of an open fire!

WHEN TO STOP BURNING YOUR CANDLE:

Discontinue use when about ¼ inch of wax is remaining to prevent the glass from overheating and/or potentially cracking or breaking as the flame is reaching the bottom of the glass.

Each and every candle is handmade and poured in small batches, using products that are only high quality. We use a coconut and beeswax blend infused with eco-friendly fragrances and miniscule amount of food grade paraffin (less than 1%) that meets strict purity standards and is necessary for wax stability and performance. Our entire recipe is 100% prop 65 compliant. We use real natural crackling wood wicks that give off a soothing low crackle to help set the right ambience. Why the wood wicks, you ask? They are natural wood with no toxins or metals infused in them that that will be released into your space when lit- and they just look really cool and can set the mood. With that being said, there are cotton wicks that are also eco-friendly that we may be introducing into some of our collections later down the road.

Instead, every candle is handcrafted with our signature coconut & beeswax blend, premium fragrance oils, and natural wood wicks to provide a beautiful burn and an elevated fragrance experience.

On your first candle burn, Light the wick and allow it to burn for at least 1 hour or until at least the top layer of wax has completely liquified. This initial step is kind of a big one as if it is blown out before the melted wax has reached the walls of the jar, it will create a pool of wax surrounding the wick which will cause the wick to drown and burn out and create a constant quick drown out effect and cause the candle to diffuse, and that’s not good! The wax remembers the initial burn path and will want to keep burning within that path. Now for the wood wick, because these wicks are natural wood, they are all unique just like us! Some may light up and stay lit so flawlessly and others may be a little more temperamental and may need to be lit a couple times before it also, like the wax, remembers its burn path and begin to stay lit. After your first burn and each burn going forward make sure to cut or chip off most of the charred edges of the wick leaving about 1/4”, or a smidge more is fine, of the wick. This will avoid the flame being too high and burn too hot which can lead to a potential fire hazard and/or decrease the burn cycle of the candle. Lastly, after you are done enjoying your candle for the time and blow it out, make sure the fire is completely out then cover the candle to retain the fragrance for another enjoyable burn! Never turn your candle out by placing the lid on the jar. Because most of these lids are wood, if the candle happens to not be completely out, that spark may cause the wood lid to catch fire.

How to Use the Remaining Wax After Your Candle Is Finished:
You can place the vessel on a candle warmer and continue to enjoy the scent FLAME-FREE, or remove the remaining wax and place it in a wax warmer.

Yikes! Did you get home a little too late after your candle was delivered while it was hot outside? If your candle started to melt and looks minorly uneven at the top, the following steps may help:

Step 1, Bring the candle indoors to a cooler area and make sure your candle is upright and on a flat secured and safe surface.

Step 2, Take a blow dryer on low to medium heat and heat the top of your candle in slow circular motions just close enough to see the top layer of wax begin to soften almost liquify (estimated 30 seconds).

*You may need to do this step an additional time.

Step 3,‍ ‍IF NEEDED- Straighten the wick if it’s leaning—do this carefully before the wax hardens again.

Step 4, Let it cool naturally at room temperature for about 1-2 hours and that’s it!

With proper candle care and burn practices-starting with the first burn, estimated burn times are as follows:

3 oz - 10+hrs

6 oz - 25+hrs

7 oz - 30+hrs

10 oz - 40+hrs

12 oz - 60+hrs

We gladly accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, unburned, unopened, and in their original condition.

Returns may be exchanged for an item of equal or lesser value.
